Ive had two Mizuno MP 10 wedges for the last 7 years and they have started to get a bit worn now esp as i play a lot and the only real practice i do is with my 50/6 and 56/13 deg.

Id tried the new Mizuno and Titleist and didn't like either TBH.

My mate had a 58/12 mpt5 knocking about so said just go and try it.... loved it and hit it a good 5 to 10 yards further than the 56. I did have a 58 deg before and i could not get on with it at all. Turns out as i'm hitting down on the ball much more than i used to the bounce helps and i'm getting a bitter strike. the prev 58 only had 6 deg of bounce.

As the MPT5 is a couple of years old i struggled to find one in 50 deg, but GIF found one for me in Grieves Sports in Glasgow. it arrived this morning. Just been in the garden hitting full shots with it and again a good 5/10 yards further with more loft..

Now to decide if i put it straight in the bag for tonight's club championship final:p

Decisions decisions..... I don't think I would, I'd use whatever had got me to that point !!! Play well and good luck. Who you playing & what's the handicap situation ???

Good girl

The mpt10 were bloody good wedges though.

Second that. Only got rid of mine due to the sheer amount of short game practice I did. 4 years of hard work and it was time to change.

My cleavelands are almost as good but not quite.

I still have the oldy 60, it's superb
