Wedges.....Again.

Bounce is almost as important as loft when it comes to choosing wedges. Are you a slider or a digger? Try them on different lies if you can.

I seem to be more a slider I suppose. My current pair both have low bounces and are generally good, I just struggle with the loft of the 60* and working out how much swing I need
 
Don't forget Callaway, designed by Roger Clevelend (founder of Cleveland golf and original designer of their classic wedges til he got bought out and went to Callaway) with input from Phil Mickelson, so good pedigree. Not keen on the Jaws but the X-forged look sweet.

How your course plays will also influence choice of bounce. If fairways and green surrounds are soft and lush and bunker sand is soft and deep, high bounce is better. If they are bare and firm, lower bounce is better.

Would love to but recovering from man flu and got a round of our winter singles knock out on Sunday, so trying to reserve energy for that. Was only thinking silvermere as their pro shop is mega ;)

Fair enough, it's me mates dads shop and yes it is excellent, particualry like the loyalty card scheme as just got 30 quids worth of vouchers through for store dicsount :cool:
