115mph swing speed with a 7iron is a totally different game to whatI play.

Ball speed, quite clearly ball speed.
I don’t think his distances are all that shocking as some are making out.
I am limited by a shoulder injury but still have 100 yards with my 56, 110-115 with my 51 and 125-130 with my PW (Mizuno MP18 PW and S18 wedges).

No thats ball speed, i dont know what my swing speeds are because the driving ramge doesn’t give they stats but ill ask pro on next lesson.

Swing speed is around two thirds of ball speed assuming a good smash factor so 115 ball speed would be about 76mph

Right ok. 110 yards with my 44 degree seems very short to those distances.

Could simply be a difference in the strike itself.

Exactly this.
Ive taken my PW from 110 to 125+ yards this year, I think mainly because I just strike the ball way better than in my first year of golf - could be wrong!

I get to play a lot of golf with lads Taught by Graham Walker (Tommy Fleetwoods coach). He like all his players to launch wedges into windows, normally with a flighted flight.
My wedge game has always been half decent, but consistency of flight and distance was off.
Worked on what he gets the lads to do and it’s paid off massively this year. A sniper on distances now.
