I just jotted some key bullet points down - thank everyone for coming, complement her on how beautiful she is and how happy she has made me - thank her mother and father - bridesmaids etc. Short and sweet. Re the late night stuff we had a jacuzzi in our suite and by the time we got in that for a bit and got out we both fell asleep almost instantly. Waited for the next day when the honeymoon started - champagne, roses and mooonlight

You’re 15 weeks away from your wedding and you haven’t written a speech or a gift yet!?!?!! plenty of time mate.

I am getting married this coming thursday and I haven’t got anything done yet.... I’m going to add lib my speech and off to buy her gift tomorrow. Wedding jellewery.

we had a jacuzzi in our suite

So did we, and after 30 minutes taking all the clips and pins out her hair... We also had a huge shower in ours too, was one amazing room, pity we were only in it for about 9 hours and we slept for 7 of them!

Mine was arranged in a fortnight, so my speech on the day was just off the cuff garbage. Ended up thanking people for coming about 12 times.
