"We are now landing in Edinburgh"

It’s beyond me how the Piolt and Co-Pilot didn’t know, the BBC report said the passengers didn’t realise until they saw the Welcome To Edindburgh signs!
Did the Pilot announce the landing and give the local time and weather for Dusseldorf?

He announced they were landing in Edinburgh. They then sat in the plane for 2.5 hours whilst they sorted it out and flew on to Dusseldorf.

You’d hope someone would of noticed, even after take off a Pilot would announce the flight timings etc. :D:D

BIt of a strange one. The flight plan was filed to go to Edinburgh, the pilots thought they were going to Edinburgh, ATC thought they were going to Edinburgh, the handling agent, cabin crew and passengers thought they were going to Dusseldorf!:ROFLMAO:
Never any danger involved, just a massive, hilarious cock up between handlers and crew by the sound of it
