Vokey SM4 wedges

but what do I do about how easily and quickly it rusts. Can I re-oil them in some way. Ther face is actually slightly marked by the rust residual marks.

Oil Can finish is exactly that - a finish. It's not oil in any way. And it will wear, so rust will appear.

Some folk like rust on wedges.

If you use Cola (all work) it'll take the rust off, but will also take the the finis off (though not s quickly).

You can use WD40 or Gun Oil every so often (or round) just as you would with a Mild/Carbon Steel Putter.

completely normal. they come in three finishes. oil can which as you know wears away to allow it to rust, black nickel and tour chrome.

I plumped for the black nickel. I actually like the look of the oil can best but it doesn't stay like that for long.

I've got the 50, 54 & 60* SM4 Wedges,

Have tried alsorts of wedges and I never really bought into what is so special about them, don't get me wrong I do like them and the look is nice, but I prefer the look of my old wedges. The one area that really keeps the vokeys in the bag though is the weight of them, I like the heavier weight they have compared to some others.

I'm the opposite, I was looking at wedges in AG and found the Vokey's a bit too heavy, the TM were the opposite and felt a bit "tinny". However the Cleveland 588 felt just right for some reason, especially the grip for some reason, just felt right. I have to admit, I haven't hit any, just tried them in the shop. Somehow it just doesn't feel right testing wedges in the shop on a range mat, I'd like to hit them off grass before buying - does that sound daft?

Goldilocks club fitting. Awesome :D.

Like swingsitlikehogan, I've never used anything other than a PW. Spent a good week reading reviews on here and elsewhere and eventually plumed for the 52* MD wedge to start me off. Cheap enough to be wrong and will be easy enough to sell on if not for me.
