I'm currently using Vokey SM4 52 and 58 wedges and I cant praise these wedges enough they are simply fantastic, how do others rate their Vokey SM4 wedges?

Great to see you've got confidence in them Shivas, But surprisingly, I've never seen wedges leap out of the bag an play the shot on there own! Can you explain how they hit the ball better than other brand wedges. Actually, how many different brand wedges have/did you try when you selected the SM4s?

It's the Indian, not the arrow! Though having confidence in the arrow certainly helps! I've always found that the bow (swing) has rather more influence on the quality of wedge shots than the arrow too!

How many wedges have I tried, where do I start! Tried all the top wedges Vokeys, Mizuno's and virtually everthing else in my quest to get a better wedge game.As for the SM4's firstly they look good, secondly they set up very well behind the ball, they have a soft feel about them on impact and are effortless to use.Go and try one Foxholer you'll love it!

So, like me, you've spent zillions on wedges.

How many wedge lessons have you had?

Had Vokeys before? Can you explain the difference between them?

Oh. And how much chipping/wedge practice do you do? Oddly, when I spend a reasonable amount of time practicing, my wedge game improves markedly!

I've had mine 2 or 3 weeks now and I'm so glad I moved from my old Mizuno wedges, I have the same as you a 52* & 58*. I love the spin you can generate from 40 to 50 yards, I struggled with control from that distance as my old wedges as the grooves had worn down quite a lot.

I've got the 50, 54 & 60* SM4 Wedges,

Have tried alsorts of wedges and I never really bought into what is so special about them, don't get me wrong I do like them and the look is nice, but I prefer the look of my old wedges. The one area that really keeps the vokeys in the bag though is the weight of them, I like the heavier weight they have compared to some others.

Got 52* and 56* SM4 wedges and beginning to really love them. Only beginning -as playing this loft of wedge is completely new to me in the last year or so (I was an 'open up pitching wedge' guy for 35+ yrs). Believe me - playing 'fixed loft' wedges is quite different from playing your pitching wedge to (try and) achieve the same sort of result.

54 and 58 user here and like them but ive used vokeys for years so nothing to compare to.

Me neither (other than a 46* PW which isn't really a direct comparison of clubs) - so I am having to learn completely new shots (at my age :() - and I get it completely wrong quite often. But I'm getting there.

Im surprised the OP even answered this reply.

I am rocking the 52,56,60 combo, and I love em! They seem very accurate for approach shots compared to my old Mizunos. Tons of spin too.

Just put my 50* nearly new one up for sale on here as prefer my 49* Cobra trusty rusty. But my phone wont upload the pics, will have to get then on in the morning when i get home from work.

i like the 54* & 60* Vokeys but the 50* isn't behaving as well as my Cobra wedge does.
