Virtual 18 holes??

has to get it close so he pulls out the pitch wedge, takes a good divot. . . it trackes and lands 4 yards right of the pin and jumps back to be about 6 feet away. the player now has a up hill left to right swinger, about a foot and a half :S

Be happy with a par,out comes my 8 iron just looking for centre of green, good contact pin high however 25ft left, putt looks r/left 3 ft break

I've stroked it on line 3feet right and it's broke another foot right!!! Any chance you can sort your reads out PJ!!????

4ft left straight in.

Just about to tee off on the 581 yd par 5 when approached by the course marshall and warned for slow play. On all accounts its one warning then youre off so better pick up the pace guys.

Anyhow, with the Marshall having fully wound me up Ive ripped one up the left hand side 285yds, though its just run off the fairway.

Ah, nice one Fundy. We've still got 4ft left on the last green!!! Is that a virtual DQ?? :D

Someone please tap the putt in before Bob comes along flogging V easys to all those scared of the 4 footer!!! ;)

OK 296 to go no chance of reaching,i know you want a full wedge in so getting it back on the fairway, off it goes, nice just 100 yrds to go,however sloping green front to back and water left.

Sorry mate that was tapped in forgot to post :o

Ok, I've played like a tit so far, this is right up my alley.

Nice 54*, one bounce and a little bit of grab should do the trick. Positive swing thoughts

Don't shank it
Don't shank it
Don't shank it
Don't shank it
Don't shank it
Don't shank it

Phew, a little bit clean but that made it spin like mad. Pitched over the flag and stopped dead.

6 foot, back up the slight hill. Inside left and firm all day long.

Inside left and firm all day long? Really?

I am reading that one again, taking my time, both ends.

Yeh its inside left and firm.

Darn pushed it... Phew glad I hit it firm, catches the right edge quite full, round the lip 180 and... Ohh just stays up!

No HA HA It topples back in, what a freaky putt, what a good 4 there!

How much 'kin sand is in these bunkers for christ sake!!!! :D

Only one shot to play, few inches behind the ball and gouge it out with loads of sand and let it run to the hole.

Ends up running 4 foot past. I watched it all the way so it's either left lip and firm or 2balls outside and die it in.

My perfect length - rammed it in .... after hitting the back edge and jumping up in teh air

Next is 107 yard Par 3, from an elevated tee 45 feet above

Elevated green with 2 pot bunkers front left, and a bunker back right
Steep bank through teh back
Narrow gap throgh trees to play down through.

Ponders club selection for a fairly long time here. 107 yards but don't forget I'm 45 feet up. Decides to play the sand wedge off the tee.

Standing on the tee and still not convinced I'm holding the right club, also daunted by the harrow gap through the trees.

Single swing thought is
Just keep it straight Just keep it straight Just keep it straight Just keep it straight

A sense of calm lands, the stroke is made, the balls starts straight as a die for the gap between the trees, it's looking great

until

it clips a branch on a tree to the left and takes a massive spoon in the air and to the right, the ball skips once on the back right of the green and lands in the back bunker - gutted!

On arrival at the bunker the ball is sitting up very nicely in soft sand. The top of the bunker is at shoulder height when standing in the bunker. Can I get up a and down?
