The man is a god on 2 wheels, his riding today was nothing short of the best I have ever seen.

The young guns (Lorenzo, Stoner & Pedrosa) may think they have the better of him but the Goat will have the final say.

Excitement to lift you off your chair. Roll on Assen....

If you can watch the highlights on the red button of todays Catalunian GP, do it. You won't be sorry.

What a race and what a finish. I though I saw one of the best races last year between Rossi and Stoner at Laguna Seca but yesterdays outclassed even that.

I hope Bernie and Max were watching that because that's what world class racings all about and not the sham that is F1.

Fair play, that was awesome. I watched it on the iPlayer, fast forward to the last 6 laps, breathtaking skill involved.

When's the next race ? I will be watching it for sure.

I saw it on the red button after getting back from the Cotswolds yesterday.

Always loved Rossi, since 250's (125's was a bit before i came to the sport). He injects sooo much more into Moto GP than the likes of Doohan (although a great rider) ever did.

My favorite before Rossi in old GP was Schwantz.

Yesterday's race was superb. I'm not sure, as I only saw it once, but may check again today, but on that last lap, just before he overtook Lorenzo for the last time, there was a shot from the back of Lornezo's bike, and it looked as if Rossi just touched Lorenzo's back wheel, which probably pushed Lorenzo wide. I wonder if it was deliberate!!? ;)

He may be god but did you see him this week at the IOM TT on BBC4 he was scared sh**less. Those guys are the real gods of Motor sport one mistake and you are not skidding across gravel but hitting a wall at 170mph

Saturday 27th June and it's at Assen which is a great circuit. Check out the website MotoGP

By the way if you liked MotoGP check out the 125's as they have some fantastic races, still what do you expect when you put a teenagers with no fear and the win at all cost attitude on a two stroke rocket

Road racing is good I have to agree, being so close to a bike as it whizzes past you is unreal.

But MotoGP gets my vote, riding a bike at over 200mph with a credit card patch of rubber giving you grip is something else. Also the noise from these bikes is music to your ears (Well mine anyway)

'Gods' ??? You have to be joking right ??

'Lunatics' maybe........'Brave'....certainly........but 'Gods' ....No.

The difference is Rossi values his life, and doesnt need to dice with a very swift death to prove he's good.
IOMTT races are only for idiots with very little regard for their own life imo.
Entertainly perhaps.......but not very clever at all, a bit like 'Im a Celeb'.

yesterdays MotoGP race was one of the very best Ive seen for a long time, and F1 should take note.
