Used Pro V's

Aren't used Pro V's cut to shreads by the time you get them?

I know that after a couple of wedge shots mine look like they've been scalped.

i dig the life out of pro v's with my wedges . hitting down on them far to much but thats how im swinging at them at the minute.

It depends on the quality of the used Pro V's,I was getting pearl quality. I'm guessing he was getting them from a driving range on a up market course cos they had no marks, scratches, scuff marks on them. I know a golf academy near me use nothing but Pro V's on their driving range.

we had a bloke trying to sell them at our club last year (ex member) and they looked nice and shiny but how can you guarantee they are genuine pro vs and not just a cheap ball with a fresh coat of paint and a name on them who on this site could be blindfolded and hit 5 balls and say which was which i prefer to play the same ball all year zstars buy 3 doz for start of season and that's it.

I find it hard enough to hit a ball whilst I can see it, no chance with a blindfold on. rolmfho

Be careful of buying them from Ebay. No one uses a standard grading scheme on there. Some grade them A, AA, AAA, PEARL. Others will grade them PRACTICE, B, A, A+, NEARLY NEW. So an A for some are bottom end and others it is mid range wuality. Your guess is as good as mine on there. I have tried some before and been very pleased with them and also bought some and they were definitely what I had expected.
