Does anybody know where I can get grade A pearl quality used pro v's?? I had the number of a local guy the I used to get top quality Pro Vs off but I lost my phone and don't have his number anymore. I need a new source for Vs

I've got a few off eBay but they were v poor quality,the seller said they were grade A quality so that's why I'm not 2 inclined to buy them off eBay.

Why not buy new balls from a shop at the price ou pay for pro v me personally if I do find a new looking pro v I only use it to practice with as it could have been outside months as some I've used don't feel the same as a new one out the box
 
I should be able to get a price for Pro Vs off a mate - who is far more picky than me. He only deals in Pearls. I take many of his RX/S/330s/Pentas. Pretty sure he'll have some at the moment, but not sure how many. What quantity are you after? His price should beat Lakeballs etc. Not sure what postage to Ireland is though.

The Pro Vs I used get were in mint condition.hit once if even that.they weren't refurbs either.i don't know where he got them but he must have had a v good contact.

Sounds good,I'll be looking for around 50 balls or how ever many he has.i was paying €75 for 50 balls.ill have a look into postage. Cheers
 
Keep a key on adverts.ie usually some on there. I have a guy in Dublin but he sells them really quickly so i'd say he wouldn't do postage plus not many of they around this time of year he is think he sells under usedirishgolfballs on adverts. He walks the 2 portmarnocks and The Island st. anns and Royal Dublin every couple of days so they are always good quality lake balls can be hit or miss if they have been under water too long.

50 balls would last me about 18 months, and I play a lot.

So I was wondering if you lose a lot? If you do, then something more forgiving might be a better idea, as losing balls kills a score. One of the reasons I find so many prov1s is that so many people use them, without the game to go with them.

On the other hand, may be I just play mine longer than you, and am happy with the odd bit of wear and tear. Never been one for replacing a ball after every third hole.

Just been in touch with my mate. Hasn't got any currently (someone took his entire stock!). Weather means unlikely to have many for a little while. Price seemed about right though - though not sure what 75 euros is/will be in 'proper' money :)

The last time I got 50 off him was Over a year and a half ago and I stil have a few left.ive even given a few to other people. The Pro V I'm using at the moment has lasted me 4roubds.i don't see the point in changing a ball every few holes. I've played with a few guys and they replace their ball every 3 holes and use the scuffed balls for "practice". With they money people spend on V's you have to use them til they are nearly split
