Can anyone shine a light on this?

Tried to look at the golf shops in Orlando prior to going next week.
Just getting “ due to data protection policies people in your location cannot view our site”

What’s that about it’s a global market I thought!

Unsure where you are staying but for me the best shop currently in Orlando is the PGA Superstore just of Sand Lake Road, I was in here again 2 weeks ago and got a bargain on a pair of shoes

It's a GDPR issue. I can't remember exactly now but it's along the lines of how they would have to deal with data, permission requests etc. It would cost them a lot to comply and if they didn't then the EU or someone from within the EU could sue. They've decided that it is simpler and cheaper to simply block EU traffic. Assuming the amount of actual business they do with EU residents it probably makes sense.

Regarding the actual shops there is a huge, and I mean huge, Edwin Watts and PGA superstore next to each other. Huge ranges, not as cheap as I expected back in August but you may get lucky and catch some sales.

I bought some Adidas spikeless shoes from a Dicks Sporting Goods for about £35, sale item. Dicks is worth going to because of the bonkers mix of goods. Golf, tennis, survivalist, crossbow, rifle, swimming, etc. Mad.

Just get a VPN and set it to the USA, there's lots of free ones and they're simple to use.

I know where the shops are , but just wanted to have a look at prices etc before I go.
Thanks for the info.
Yes it does make sense .

All solved by a vpn. I use for everything. Covers your browsing for banking.. or when your abroad means you can make yourself appear in the uk and access sky go etc
In this case I’d put myself in the USA and have a look.. also good for watching the golf

Thanks for that but what’s a vpn , havnt got a clue.
Just googled it that sounds like what I need .
Cheers lads.

Its a virtual private network (VPN) it will hide your ip address and trick the server to thinking your in another country of your choice, great for geo blocked sites like your trying to access I use a free VPN I get with my newsgroups server

If you regularly browse other countries sites or want to watch golf\movies\shows from the US, or from the UK when you are abroad a VPN is worth paying for. Easy to set up and not too expensive. My preferred choice at the moment is PIA (Private Internet Access) but there are plenty of other options out there.

EDIT - On the golf part of the topic, forgot to add most gear from the US isn't really cheaper or much different. It was good back in the days of $2 to the pound, but that is long gone. Their military discounts are good, but I am guessing most people here don't have friends or family in the US military.

Try budget golf that's really popular in the us and I'm lead to believe they are the most competitive pricing wise
