On the off chance any one out there no why when i try to upload a word doc to a website via Firefox the connection times out and then my virgin media cable modem wont connect to any websites via the browser but............
I know i still have an internet connection as i can ping websites and i can download email via my pop3 account.
Even when i do an ipconfig /release and renew i can not get an ip address back from virgin and the only way to fix it is to power off the modem for 30 seconds and reboot it again.
I haven't chnaged any configs on my pc and it let me do it sunday fine
BTW i can upload photos to facebook fine
