Who??????????????
Homer, there are some seriously good 'alternative' brands out there! It is, after all, where Ping, TM and Adams actually came from - though they continued on to dominate! I know a guy from another forum (made a Putter for me) who seems to be attempting to corner the market in Bang Drivers - he has quite a few!
My irons (5-SW) and 2 hybrid are from Nickent. Nickent had a very high reputation for hybrids until they went bust a few years ago but their stuff is very good quality but hard to find.
Nickent takes me back quite a few years too! A mate from another forum had a Nickent 3-wood that was pretty good - in the early Adams days. Sonartec is another FW/Hybrid specialist - also now gone.
Tour Edge is one I remember from that period that has 'survived'. Makes seriously long Woods. I had a couple of CB1s that were great (Hobbit might agree about 1 of them). Promoted through Foremost these days, so reasonably common.
