hi guys,

Think i will get myself something from the underarmour range (likely a long sleeve).

Also might be a silly question but have not had something like this before lol.. But are they a big or small fitting? I am around 42-44 inch chest and look to be between large and x-large so not sure what to go for.

thanks in advance.

Go for Large if I were you. You want it as fitted as possible, because that's the whole point of compression gear and it's very giving.

This might help:

As for where to buy it, this place is unbeatable on service: www.epsports.co.uk and has the best range you'll find anywhere. You'll be lucky to find it "cheap" as most places sell it for RRP unless you get lucky.

Order it today and it will likely be here tomorrow.

If you're anywhere near Cardiff, the Intersport they have in the City Centre is the best selection I've seen in a shop.

P.S. - Might be teaching you to suck eggs, but make sure you get the "cold gear" stuff as there are long sleeved "heat gear" items which are for warmer weather.

The Cold Gear stuff is incredible though. Got me through three (very cold) winters of american football training.

You can't go wrong with a pair of their cold gear leggings either!

ah ok i know what it is now. One question, I have a top like this that is very tight fitting, maybe too tight fitting for a golf swing, it also starts to really stick after an hr or so. does this stuff do the same or is it a little better designed?

You pay for what you get with baselayers.

UA stuff isn't the be all and end all, but it's definitely some of the best stuff you can buy.

I never have any restrictions with my swing and the UA stuff never sticks to me, even after alot of sweating.

It's definitely alot better than most of the stuff you can buy for sport as they're perfectly fitting, not restrictive but still gives the compression to stop any injuries.

And best of all, they keep you toasty.

UA stuff is Map priced, so its pretty much the same price everywhere. Personally I'd say drop two size's from what you usually wear, I usually wear XXL/ XL depending on manufacturer, so with that in mind I tend to go for Large. This stuff is designed to fit tight, thats the whole point of the compression part.

All the sports websites have this stuff, so look at different brands. I prefer the nike stuff as its a little longer in the body so leaves loads to tuck nicely into your trousers

Can't beat the "cold" UA gear and it certainly keeps me warm. It feels a bit uncomfy putting it on but I never have a problem once I'm swinging the club. I had a quick scout around the web and can't find any major deals on UA gear

Just bought a white long sleeved cold gear top today, JJB sports store had 20% off everything in the store, £34.99 down to £27.99. Very rarely see them at anything other than around £35. They had quite a lot of stock so may be worth visiting your local shop if you are looking for one.
