Conor's awesome. Sure, Mendes was dominating the grappling, but Conor was in a different league on the feet. Even if Mendes had had a full camp he wouldn't have beaten Conor. Conor was bound to land that big straight left at some point, and the damage to the body was so impressive. Has answered a major question about his skill-set. All the talk in the last 6 or 7 months is that Conor has been hidden and kept from the wrestlers, but he's just taken on the best wrestler in the division, and probably the best all-round fighter in the division and knocked him out in 2 rounds. The hype is legit, and the UFC have found themselves a much needed superstar!
How good was Lawler vs MacDonald?! Absolute war, one of the best title fights I've ever seen, and also one of the most graphic. Lawler's lip was busted up so bad, and Rory was an absolute mess. Rory didn't know where he was, he's a bloody mess, nose shattered and the cumulation of strikes from Lawler left him literally not knowing what year it was. What a fight!
