Two PBs today

Finally did it and broke my -1 gross 26 best 9 holes round the par 3 with a -3 24!

Crazy thing was I had two bridie putts stop on the lip and two other tap in pars!

Could only keep it up for 14 holes as I ran into the back of the county boys out for a practice, the sudden slow play vs before (wasn't let through either) rocked my rhythm and I can home +3 to shoot another best, level par 54 for 18!

Golf is such a game of if buts and maybes as I could say it should have been out in 21 and home in 27

Still great to bag two PBs in on morning, off to pay up my £20 for H4H as thankfully it's not going to get any worse now I have achieved my challenge.

I finally made a major achievement this week myself, put two back to back rounds together at gross '88' net '67' which for me is major as I usually put one good round in closely followed by a couple of complete and utter blowouts... :thup:

Than me and well done, I've also had two back to back 88s but mine were off the yellows and my only two full 18s this year. Doubt I could break 90 off any whites.

So far it's been a great golfing year for me.

Mine were off yellows as well although most of the whites at our course aren't very far behind the yellows anyway apart from the 2nd...

T'is a good feeling 'innit' when you finally realise yer not actually just wandering aimlessly around a field 'wasting yer time' and achieving nothing, I like this golf lark... :thup:

I know what you mean, I am starting to feel like a proper golfer. Next year I will grab me a membership and see what I can do round a slightly longer 9 hole course.

Next year it's on! No holiday days left this year due to other bookings sadly.
