This so called big story has seen the presses running hot all weekend hasn't it?
Or not.

Or not.
Can someone explain in simple terms what has happened please as there has been talk of teddy bears, spanner posters, J K Rowling, an SNP politician, Rangers and journalists and I've got no idea who has allegedly done what to who.
Allegedly the main story is about a a lady who has for years complained about being 'harassed' on twitter.
She now seems to be allegedly best friends on twitter of a person [and probably others] who have been posting some truly vile stuff about Scottish female politicians
The other story is about The Rangers not liking a story that was written about them by Scotland's leading and most respected sports writer.
Resulting with the writer and one of his colleagues no longer writing for the said newspaper
Is the female SNP politician the one who has allegedly been dipping into political funds and has allegedly been kicked out of the SNP? How dare someone, allegedly, post up something about a politician who had allegedly been benched for allegedly helping herself to political funds.
as crow posted ,WHO BLOODY CARES.
Out of interest, Have you seen Spanners comments about the Scottish female politicians.?
They have all been deleted on twitter but are widely available on most Scottish sites.
Not really out of interest.... But how about you answer my question first. Did the SNP bench said female politician for allegedly dipping.

So the journalist made potentially defamatory statements in a national newspaper alleging one of the Rangers board supported bigotry and lost his job because of it.
The SNP politician who was suspended due to financial irregularities posted defamatory comments about JK Rowling on Twitter by using a photo shopped image to suggest that JKR had supported a bigoted post by saying "you're a good man" when in fact that reply was in response to Brian Spanner QC having raised money for JKRs charity.
From reading DfT's posts I get the impression that he is supporting the journalist and the SNP politician. I might be wrong but maybe DfT would be good enough to clarify if he is supporting the two that have made the defamatory comments.
I think DFT's tongue is firmly in his cheek - at one point he says Graham Speirs is Scotlands leading and most respected sports writer
