Right fellow golfers, we are now heading towards spring/Summer as it's the Winter Solstice today- longest night shortest day:thup: Can't come quick enough:mmm:

It's the shortest day today but the evenings have been getting longer for a couple of weeks now :-)

erm thats right, now it starts to go the other way:whistle:

Sorry, didn't explain myself very well. The day when the sun sets earliest is 9th to 15th Dec, after that it starts getting later again. So although the 21st is the shortest hours of daylight it's not the day when the sun sets earliest.

Happy days. As I haven't seen a course or a range all week courtesy of this never ending house move I'm glad it is blowing a hoolie and chucking it down this weekend. I may nip out for a bucket tomorrow if I ever get to unpacking the clubs at some point

Shortest day yet but it's not the latest sunrise or the earliest sunset.
Roll on Christmas day when the day length is a whole minute longer!

Go to work in the dark and come back home in the dark.
Take refuge in the house, lock the doors, make the power companies even more money as we light up and warm up.

You could get quite depressed with it all.

At least Christmas is just round the corner!!! :)
