Turf for living room putting practice

Looking to DIY a 10 foot or so platform to practice putting on......

The indoor range I go to has a putting green but its about 13 on the stimp which is just not realistic for central scotland.

Looking for recommendations on some astroturf that has a slightly better speed and good quality of roll?

Have a look at carpet tiles, they come in all different ''stimps'' and don't cost the earth

I have a Puttout mat ... that works fine.

I found the trouble with roll out putting 'astroturf' it is very difficult to keep flat due to lack of weight.

Go down to your local carpet store and look for a good offcut.

My mistake was when I changed my carpets- the lounge was the pace as the greens where I pay and the hall had carpet tiles which were the same as links greens.

Puttout mat for me. Add in some putting gates and a visio path mat on top I can work on path and ensure I start the ball on line and through the gets
