Hi All,

Starting a new thread with a question based on something I asked in an entirely different section of the forum.

Don't judge me...but I've never actually bought any golf stuff online but I'm looking to order a new set of irons in time for Christmas. There are so many online retailers though that I'm not sure which ones are good and which ones are bad - and I'm not sure I have the time or ability to search for reviews on them.

If I post a few, can someone tell me whether they are ok or dodgy?

www.thesportshq.com
www.golfgear.co.uk
www.discountgolfscore.co.uk

Thanks!

Barry, before placing your order, do a phonecall/email stock check with what it is your after.

With so much new stock arriving, and old stocking being sold off cheap, stock is moving so quick that some retailers are not updating their sites quick enough. Also alot more online retailers are now ordering to order as it were, with this in mind if its not instock you want them to give an accurate delivery date of when you will receive it.

I know the phonecall/email thing is a pain, but that 5 mins of time may save days of head ache and stress.

The last one should be discountgolfstore.co.uk I think. I have been to their Chatham store a few times but dont find them particularly cheap.

The other two sell cheaper ranges of gear but are both sound companies as far as I know

Good hunting - dont forget to check out whats being sold by the guys on here

thesportshq are fine, used them a few times.

Otherwise you can always rely on Onlinegolf (same company as owns Nevada Bob's) and directgolf.

For end of line kit I use justgolfonline who have always been great.

I used American Golf on Tuesday and got my trousers and t-shirts on the Wednesday night. Considering i never paid for next day delivery and ordered them at 7pm, i thought this was very good :)
