I didn't realise that was the whole thing, thought it was just a trailer type thing.

Edit: It was just a trailer last time I looked. All those are new to me so I'll have a look through those.

Did anyone watch the qualifiers? Was there many people embarrassing themselves?
 
There were links to the qualifiers from the youtube vids of the final.

After watching them I can't wait until I'm halfway down the first lol.
The first tee looks the worst as far as nerves go.
 
Trouble is, I don't know anyone (apart from my kids who have no idea of golf etiquette) who could carry clubs for 18 holes without falling over!

Anyone fancy the job? ;) ;)

That's very kind of you to offer.
I'm looking forward to seeing what courses they're being held at. I guess the same as last year but there should be a couple extra as well.

Let's hope they announce it sometime soon.

Just checked there website looking for info on the irish event as i might give it a go no venue as of yet anyone know how it works it says it a 6 round event and how come there were only 4 in the final on TV if there are 6 quailifying events.

11 people qualify from each event for the final, plus some other exempts (past winners etc).
Then the top 4 after the 18 hole final go into the 3 hole shoot out played at the end of that day.
 
Getting annoyed now that the dates and venues haven't been posted as it is possible I may not be able to make the regional qualifier due to other commitments/staff holidays that sort of thing.
I sent an email asking what was going on, and why weren't the dates up yet as they were due to be up last November. I also asked about deposit refunds should the dates that do finally get decided upon be unacceptable.
This is the reply I received.

"Hi Rob,

Apologies for the delay in information - as we are expanding the tournament in such a short space of time, adding extra tournaments and venues has caused the hold up in confirming dates with proposed venues. The proposed venues have to coincide with each other and be in some sort of order so the team is not zig zagging across the country. William is heavily involved in this as he personally visits all of the clubs to make decisions (I try not to ask to much information sometimes, as I get more than I asked for!) :)

The deposit you placed is non refundable but if dates are a problem I will try to help you as much as possible, please get in touch with me if this is a scenario.

I'm in the same boat as you Smiffy....I'm getting grief from HID as she wants to book the summer hols!!!!! C'mon William.....pull yer finger out!!!!! :( :(
 
Same here. Not so much getting the time off from work but not being able to book a summer holiday yet is frustrating to say the least.

The annoying thing is that they said the dates and venues would be posted up in November last year and here it it now February and we're none the wiser. Plus the fact that they are sticking to their "deposit non refundable" line. I feel that if they have let players down like this, they should offer deposits back with no questions asked if players can't make the dates they finally arrive at.
 
Is it just me, or is the idea of a Tour based on everybody wearing a rather stupid (and rather spivvy) looking hat rather odd?

Tis a bit, but I'm ok with looking (even more like) a pillock if everyone else is too!! :D

Just received a "news flash" email to inform me that dates and venues are going to be announced next week.
What's the betting I won't be able to attend any of them at this late stage?
Bit annoyed because I've got an email sitting in my golf folder stating quite clearly that the venues were going to be announced last November!
Yet they say my deposit is non refundable.
Bit unfair I think. They didn't keep their side of the bargain as far as notification is concerned so feel that they should refund my deposit if I can't make it now.
:(
