Trevose or St Enodoc?

Played Trevose twice and first time, Greenkeeper had sprayed weed killer on greens thus scorching them! Second time, didn't quite have the magic I was hoping for! Haven't played St Enedoc but would like to! Perranporth is a wonderful course to play if you are in that neck of the woods! A behemoth but good fun

Are you sure you have that the right way round? There is nothing quirky about Trevose, it is just basically a flat links course. St Enodoc on the other hand is very quirky!

yeah this is very true.

As you are in the area, i would 100% play Perranporth over Trevose. A fascinating course, with probably some of the best views in golf!

either way, all good golf courses!

If you did decide to play St Mellion I think they are running a deal on groupon at the moment for a two ball for just shy of £60. That's playing on the Signature course but only runs from Monday to Thursday.

I have played a lot at both courses as I have relatives that live at Wadebridge and St Enodoc is, in my opinion, by far the better of the two courses.

The greens are superb and the variety of holes make it a must play course; I can guarantee you won't regret it. Trevose isn't bad but it isn't in St Enodoc's league.

Played Trevose in my youth and it was nice but not amazing.

I haven't played St Enedoc but have several friends whose opinion I value highly on course quality who say it is absolutely fantastic. If you have to pick one, I would go with St Enedoc every time.

Its up for sale apparently, been down there a time or 2 and to be honest it's nowt special and gets real wet during the winter, over priced and over rated as far as I can see but then I am a greenkeeper and our course is the best in the sou'west !...

Unless your at Saunton/Burnham or St Enodoc, then your wrong.

Don't know how you can say it's over priced. I'm down there in August £140 for 3 rounds of golf, night in the hotel and all food - that's pretty much as cheap as you'll get anywhere
