Tour Edge drivers

does anyone use a Tour Edge driver? I have been offered a Tour Edge Exotica although I personally have never heard of them or been able to find a great deal about the driver/brand out.

My current driver is in tatters and I can't really afford a new one as it would mean spending the money I would normally use to play/go range (meaning no actual golf)

They sell them in my club's pro shop and it looks pretty decent kit to me. Had a go with a hybrid and it was a close run thing between that and the Ping G10 I bought. Certainly worth a try.

the asking price is 50quid and its aparently in great nick and barely used. Does that sound reasonable then do you reckon?

Had a demo at my local range a year ago, damn they were impressive clubs. Hit the ball a little higher than normal but couldn't hit a bad shot with it. The only thing putting me off was the price-think it was £200 odd and I wasn't THAT impressed with the difference to my regular big stick.

My local pro has a 12* & 14* for about £50-60 reduced.

My pro has the tour edge custom fitting package and so offers their full range and a wide range of shaft and head options. The drivers look pretty good (a little Titleist in looks) and they are pretty solid to hit. I think they are a tad expensive but performance wise very good.

Hello mate i use tour edge exotics irons and they are fantastic mate,i dont carry the woods in my bag as i didnt want to change from what i had,however i did hit the driver,3 wood and hybrid on the range just out of curiosty before i sold them on ebay and they were very,very good and if you can pick up the driver for £50 then i would say go for it,you will not find anything better at that kind of money..go to the tour edge website if you have anymore queries,these clubs are big in america with a couple of tour pros using them.good luck..

My pro reckons they make very good equipment and are competitive option amongst the bigger brand clubs he sells also. Apparently more and more people are coming round to trying their gear and swallowing their brand snobbery, I am yet to be persuaded to do this though

Not had a chance to hit them yet but am getting the driver and also a tour edge 3 wood that wasn't originally for sale hopefully at the weekend on trial but just wanted to say thanks to everyone who commented on this thread. The clubs are actually at my folks right now although have been sent a load of photos and they look the tits and look better than any other woods I have owned (which have always been cast off)
