Torque wrench G430 Driver

I just got my Ping G430 Max driver. Was messing around with the head, I tightened it quite hard, but didn't get the torque wrench 'click' once it had reach the correct tightness. I was a bit scared to keep tightening it, so thought I would just double check that it does actually have a ratchet to prevent over tightening?

Mine does.

If it does not click it is not at the correct torque and may come loose.

They are high tensile bolts designed to take the correct torque.

It's all in the technique of turning. My 425 max wouldn't click when I adjusted the loft so I went back to the shop. The guy there just did it and I felt a bit silly. I think the way to do it is to turn it quickly rather than slowly.

As [B]@Alan Clifford[/B] said , I recently bought a G425 and couldnt get the click as i thought it was going to snap . Also I couldnt get the shaft out to change the loft , it felt like it was glued in .
Then watched a Youtube and said tap the head on the ground a few time and it came loose it also said giving it a bit extra when doing it up . Now im not scared its going to break.
