Good call on Tremors. Escape From New York's great too.

For fans of scary films, The Changeling. Bloody hell, gives me goose bumps just thinking about it!!

Oh, and someone mentioned hating Woody Allen films in the other thread...watch Sleeper and tell me it's not brilliant.

Sleeper is the sci/fi-ish one? the one with the soap gun? - it's the only film of his that is any good.

some of those chinese 'horror' films -
and the early japanese samurai stuff

and a repeat

Johnny Dangerously
Undercover Blues - who can forget 'Morty'

Have to agree with Dogma, brilliant, Alanis Morrisette as God.
Anyone remember a Brit film from the early 80's called "Party Party", loads of now well known people appearing as unknowns in a film about a New Years Eve party that gets out of hand, looks like it was made for a tenner yet absolutely brilliant but never on TV.
"Ere, can you smell Horses?"

Punk film called Suburbia. Remember watching it when I was younger and lovedit but has been a while since I have seen it.

Not sure I would class it as lesser known but also lover Time Bandits.

Surely you mean "Big Trouble in Little China"!

How about

Con Air
Being John Malkovich
High Fidelity
America's Sweethearts
Must Love Dogs

All great Cusack films

A friend of mine who played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Conrad Goode, was in Con Air. He and everyone else on the cast thought Jon Cusack was a cock.

I interviewed him at the NFL game at Wembley in 2007 and he thought I was trying to get his autograph. He is so far up his own arse in real life, he could smell his own intestines.

He was good in "Eight men out" though.

One of my recommendations ("Class") has John Cusack. Love him in films, ("Grosse Point Blank" was on the other night, cracking film), but no opinion on him as a person. To be honest I couldn't give a stuff what he's really like.
