As an aside, I used to be a member of Gerrards Cross Golf Club. One day I walked into the pro shop to find the pro finishing up a conversation with a member. The member was telling him the order of some of the Moore Bonds. The member walked out and I said to the pro 'That bloke knows his Bond movies' to which the pro said 'He should, he directed 3 or 4 of them'. It was John Glen, who actually directed 5, all the 80s films, and was second unit on a few before that. Gerrards Cross is only a couple of miles from Pinewood Studios.
I used to live a few hundred yards from Linwood and my neighbour was a driver. Remember them filming The Spy Who Loved Me.

I don't think OHMSS would have been any better/worse with Big Tam starring in the lead role. I thought the Fry's chocolate man did a reasonable job as Bond, better than some of the others.
