Top 10 things to do in golf

I agree, playing the Open courses is top of the list for me, although I'd be happy with the only the current rota. The bogey-free round also appeals, particulary 18 pars - ten straight pars is as close as I've ever come. As for a hole-in-one, I've never come close in 20 years of playing, in the same time period a friend of mine has had three.

Not concerned about shooting my age just yet, have had a few bogey free rounds and 300yd drives.

So it would be the Open rota courses, a tall order but not impossible to achieve, Okay.....ST Andrews tick, Hoylake tick, Birkdale tick.......long way to go stil!!

Nothing appeals to me about watching a Ryder cup or Open at the event. There are so many people there who have little idea about what goes on and are basically a "rent-a-crowd" for any big televised sports event. Much better to catch the majority of the action from my armchair IMO.

Needs more achievable and realistic feats like winning the club championship or canning 30 yard bunker shot (queue running round the green screaming "oh my god!")

I'd love to stand on my 18th green and hit a full sand iron off it taking a huge divot in front of a packed clubhouse.

Dont ask why but I just would!

id like to play the coures from the open and the us open.
the ones from the last 10 years would do me as they are the only ones id have seen played.

I have to agree playing the Open Courses would be a great treat. But I would love to play a bogey free round as well.

I'd add trying a putt on the 16th at Augusta, just to see how difficult it really is.
