Too cold for golf?

its light at 8am and right thru till 5pm now- roll on spring.

When its baltic I go to a range with heaters.............;)

I'm quite happy to play in this weather - obviously I don't take it too seriously, but love the crispness. Off to the range now for a bit so will no doubt return to my desk with frozen hands and feet! No pain, no gain!! :D

We have our final winter league match on Sunday morning so that'll be interesting if the weather forecast is right!

Oddsocks, Scott and I were freezing our proverbials off at Westerham yesterday and one of the guys there was venturing out ............. wearing ......... shshshsh shorts brrrrrrrr - donut if you ask me!

Chris

Which range is that DV?

Play Sport Strangely, wrong side of the country for you but they have the IR heaters that heat objects (people, ground, clothes etc) as opposed to the ones that heat air, tried a bay without one and far too cold to be enjoyable

Imurg & I went out this morning, only -3

guess who hit 36 points to his 23

Not that im one to brag or anything

YYEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!

Fragger :-)

As a general rule I will play unless the ground is white with snow of frost. I did that once and it was a waste of time, like playing in a car park.

Would love to get out on Saturday to make the most of this one month membership at Belton Park but think that it may be under snow. This could be my first weather related weekend off in years.

I haven't played a game since the 20th December but that is only down to not having had the opportunity. I will play in any weather if the course is open. I subscribe to the view that there is no such thing as bad weather, just inappropriate clothing!

I swing the speeds stik for a few minutes each evening, that'll keep you warm! Also do lots of crunches, sit ups and press-ups for some muscle building, little bit of carpet putting now and again and odd trip to range.
With my long frozen shoulder beginning to thaw out at last I have been to the range twice in the last week and got on ok, bit sore but progressing at least. I have a little range a mile away, £2.50 for 50 balls, is that cheap?
Have not hit a ball off grass since May so might get up the club one of these weekends to the practice area if it's not frozen. Enthusiam for golf renewed. Have a game at Craigielaw lined up too!
