Been a good lad today.
Washed the car which was driven off by HID as I was still wringing out the drying cloth!!!
Raked all the leaves up in the back garden and bagged 'em up.
Hung some new doors, fitted new handles. Looks fantastic.

So people, tomorrow I have duly earned some "me" time.

Planning a little lie in, quick shower, a bit of scoff, then off up to the course for a leisurely round. I've bloody well earned it! :)
Weather forecast looking pretty good, a bit fresh but dry with some sunshine. Can't bloody wait!

Thing is, with the darker nights, after work sessions on the course are a non starter. Weekends are the only time I can play, so after a week at work I'm really gagging for a round.

Anybody else in the same boat? It's ok for shiftworkers who get time off, but us day workers have to wait for the weekend.

I played on Friday, I played today and I'm playing tomorrow. I'm back to work Tuesday so that still leaves Monday free!

Not really.

Played 13 yesterday, but a bit mediocre. Played 18 this morning, bang on h'cap but only due to very jot short game, and then got a stable ford comp tomorrow.

It's a tough life.

I work Nights, and the kids are at school during the week... result----can play every day if I want.... except Wednesdays obviously, as then the course is full of lovely retired ladies taking a leisurely stroll whilst carrying a golf bag, chatting at length, and never looking behind them...

Going overseas tomorrow for a game.

Millport beckons. Really looking forward to it.

Been to work today. Hit some balls at the range this afternoon. Bought the winters supply of Noodles (long and soft) for £9.99 a dozen

Tomorrow a Texas scramble! Great fun! Then watch HID in a choir perfoming for a charity.

Managed to find temporarily stop the shanks at the range last night so braved the roll up. Not great and a couple of lost balls. Tempted to play tomorrow morning rather than hit the range but fog forecast and need an early round as I've stuffed booked in the afternoon. Kind want to play and try to play my way back. Getting the playing mojo back even if I hit it like a fool

I only hit the one shank today. Full on 5i, about 100 yards sideways. Followed by a fat.

Had about 6 fats, all with my 54 wedge. Why is it if you have a Bogey club, you (me then) consistently lay up to this distance? Stupidity. The 50 is going like a rocket.
