Today just gets better & better!!

After this mornings first ever eagle, I played round Mid Yorkshire with Vig this evening and shot a 14 over par 85, coming home in 39 which is the first time i've ever done 9 holes in under 40!!

The evening was topped off with a (vig may correct me here - if he says its any less he's lying ) 30+ footer putt for birdie on the 18th which I drained right in the middle!

Only 1 card wrecking hole too which was an 8 on a par 5, just a few too many doubles which prevented the first sub 80.

Anyway, to round off an altogether fantabulous day, i've put my score into Golfers Diary and my handicap has come down to 17.6 which is the lowest i've ever been

I must remember to put the lottery numbers on for Saturday...

30+ foot my ARmpit.

I measured it this morning it was 29' 11" give or take an inch.
About 11 paces actually, I thought it may get a mention so for the purposes of accuracy I felt obliged to.

Went out with my son this morning. First 18 he has played in 11 months. He had a range session last Saturday.
Talk about a master of the under whelmed. He stiffed a 215yd hybrid to 2 foot and said "it was ok"
He lipped two birdie putts, parred 4 holes and generally sent his drives long and straight.
MAKES ME SICK! LOL

I played ok, couple of birdies and 6 solid pars. My game is coming back slowly but for him to not pick a club up in nearly a year and play like that, I just don't get it

I reckon about 33 foot.

Re the lad, he prefers footy and through the footbal season he doesn't have the time or inclination to play golf.
A few more rounds hitting it as sweet as he did today though and his head may be turned.
I wish I was half as consistent with the driver
