homer if you used to be a assistant you should know yourself about clubs and if you can hit them or not.don't forget the golden rule anyway try before you buy.
in my experience tour preferred sit more open for more play-ability and the sre a little narrower on the sole.

I would have thought that this is a no risk chance to try them and see if they work for you. You should make a profit if they don't suit you and will be able to sell your clubs for a lot more if you prefer the TPs.

On a serious note without any sexual favour innuendos. In your OP you ask if it's a good players club 7 or lower. Do you really see that much difference between yourself and a 7 handicapper?
I mean you say you've got a shocking short game, and everybody knows you're loopy, hence the trip to the pyschologist, sorry mental coach.
My point is - some part of your game must be half decent for you to be hovering around 11. I wouldn't try to classify the clubs too much, just buy them see if you get on with them and if you don't, I'll buy them off you for mates rates

But on a serious note, I cant wait to recover from my bad injury so I can get some real exciting golf field time in.
I mean you say that it will take twelve months, but im fairly confident I'll be back swinging my golf racquets within ten.
My point is - who cares about golf anyway?

Well I've taken these out and I like them. Only played nine holes but hit them pretty well considering the conditions. I've only hit the wedge twice and stuck it safely on the green and chipped in with it. I actually played pretty well all told today so gutted we're unlikely to get anywhere near the course or practice ground for the foreseeable future after the weather tonight and tomorrow. Left in a dilema what to do with the R9's though. Think I might keep them for a while as persuaders for these new sticks
