I'm currently seriously considering buying a set of PingG15's/20's or RBZ's and would like to know what owners on here think of the two, what made them buy the irons the chose and any regrets or views they may have in hindsight.

There are good offers on both and just to add a complication I can also get a set of TM R11's for the same price.

Any informed opinions appreciated

Thanks,
Dave

I have the Ping G15's yellow dot, i really like them. Great club nice feel and weight to them. I didn't like the standard grip on them tho, so just ripped them off and stuck new golf prides on them.

My pro recommended that these would be a good fit for me when i was looking for new irons. I did notice that the heads were a bit large at address, but after a couple weeks i got used to them and they have worked a treat.

I moved from rapture v2's (similar to g20) to RBZ,preferred the more compact head but did not like the 4&5 iron design at all so. Swapped them for rocket blades.certanly longer but that's loft and length at play, better flight for me (lower) and plenty forgiving. The pings are very forgiving and launch very high, bit like the s2's I guess

Myself and my 3 playing partners all use g20 irons and woods.
We're all happy with them and ping will adjust your colour code up to 5 colours for £18 a set should you need them adjusted, so fantastic after sales on their behalf.

Had the R11s and they were a nice club. Very easy to hit and forgiving too. Only got rid as my current clubs were offered at a too good to refuse price. Was tempted by the I20. Not a fan of the RBZ as it looks too chunky and offset for my liking although the Rocketbladez tour hits the mark. If possible try before you buy

I'm selling my RBZs as Ive upgraded to R11s. Like Homer says they do look chunky at address, especially the 3,4 and 5 which are almost like a hybrid in construction. They are a great club to hit though, very forgiving.

Sainthacker is there a great deal of difference in between the R11 and RBZ in terms of forgiveness, feeling and height. I'm not worried about distance

To be honest I only got the R11s last week so its too early to tell, I bought them a a: I wanted something that will last me longer as my handicap comes down, and b: they were at a knockdown price! Only had a chance to hit them on the range at the moment but I would say a bad strike is much more noticeable with the R11, but a good one is good:thup:

I've just swapped my TM's for the ping g25. Tried both the G15 and the G25 when trying to decide, and I found both to be good, forgiving clubs. The only reason I plumped for the G25 over the G15 is that the head of the G15 is so big! I'm sure i would have got used to the size of the head though.

I had the TM R11's and I really got on well with them, the only reason I got rid was I thought I was upgrading when I got the rocketbladez but that turned out to be a disaster!
Was going to get another set of R11's but I thought I'd try something different (non taylormade) which turned out to be a blessing in disguise.

I have the Ping G25 and they are superb and the best irons I have found so far

Not as pretty as my JPX 825 Pro but very repeatable and accurate
