TM Jetspeed Driver thoughts

I was thinking about this yesterday. From the little I read online, I haven't seen much enthusiasm for the product. The SLDR is grabbing all the headlines and doesn't seem to want to share the #loftup limelight, despite Jetspeed fittings involving a lot of increased lofts.

The Jetspeed was designed to replace the RBZ stage 2 if I'm correct and I'm not quite sure whether it has successfully done this.

I could see how the RBZ, RBZ2, R1 and SLDR drivers 'sat' in their product range but the Jetspeed just seems to be an afterthought. Maybe I'm wrong.

Of course, it's all down to performance so if the Jetspeed performs best for someone on testing, then they should pull the trigger.

Arguably it offers nothing more than the RBZ stage 2, just with a different hat on. Year on year technological breakthroughs? I think not. I recently bought an old TM R9 and when I hit it out of the middle (rarely), it goes the same if not further than my previous driver, the X Hot. I've learnt the expensive way that all this technological innovation is tosh.

But if you've money to spend and want a new driver, then invest in a proper SHAFT fitted to you. I'll get off my soapbox now and do some colouring in.

Picked 1 up in american golf recently
Seems very light
Looks and feels 'cheap'

Also picked up 3 different fairway woods
All were Ridiculously 'toed in' closed

Can see this line being sold off/discontinued pretty quickly

Lad in same shop that I know, said not sold too many of them at all
The SLDR and its marketing has grabbed the headlines, and sales too

I've hit only a handful of balls with it so take this with a pinch of salt... but it was super spinny for me. Everything launched high with that weak floaty flight.

I don't recall which shaft I used in that head, but I was turned off immediately.

Obviously it may work exceptionally well for others.

As Moogie said i've picked one up in a shop and feels way too light, i'd feel like i have no control over it at all, i've never seen anyone with one yet or heard of anyone getting one so that probably tells you something about them.
