TM clubs

I've finally decided to bin my TM RBZ driver. Just can't get on with it. Desperate to hit, no confidence and my last driver was one of my favorite most consistent clubs, just lacked a bit of distance. Think i'll stay clear of the TM stuff from now on. Anyone else get on with their RBZ or TM clubs in general? I've heard mostly negative stuff about them from owners so maybe it's a bit of negative placebo....but heyho, back to the old driver.

Hi. I have an RBZ driver as well. It's got quite an open face if your used to more draw bias club.
It's is a great driver head of you can hit it!! The stock shaft is very light.
I prefer a more closed driver face but am keeping the rbz for when I've mastered the draw driver swing...!

Can someone explain why they would buy a club they don't get on with?

Or blame the manufacturer if a club they bought on spec that didn't suit?

Go test 'em out and buy the actual one that works. And it's surprising what a different shaft will do.

My thoughts as well. Particularly after having a fitting yesterday. Difference between the good and the bad was like night and day.

I loved my RBZ driver and my R11 3wood (until the head cracked). Would not have a problem using any TM clubs.

Love my R11s driver after I put a better shaft in it. Had the RBZ Stage 2 3W and have swapped it for an i25. It was stupidly long off the tee, but it never seemed to work very well from the deck.

bought a TM superfast burner driver, the black headed one, same shape as Snedekers except he has the tour version (I tried the TP but didnt like it).

The superfast brought fun back into driving after 5 years of a dead Titleist 907- the shaft is too long though but man the ball stayed in the air ages and was long- a bad one though was a disaster:eek:

when I bought a 'normal' shafted driver it felt really short but it was only an inch- makes all the difference to controlability

Ive used rbz drivers and think they where a bag of spanners. Probably the worst driver of all time as i think they lauched too high with too much spin and sound awful. But then.......my pal lent me his rbz driver with an after market "ahina" shaft. I can honestly say this is the best driver i have hit. The difference not just on the course but the track man was amazing

Oh, and binning my r11 was a huge mistake. Fantastic driver

Yeh agree.............can't find a driver to better my RBZ and I've tried a few. The accra shaft made a big difference. Back using TM irons as well.

Just ordered myself the Burner 2.0 rescue 3 from online golf for 56 quid :)
