I've finally decided to bin my TM RBZ driver. Just can't get on with it. Desperate to hit, no confidence and my last driver was one of my favorite most consistent clubs, just lacked a bit of distance. Think i'll stay clear of the TM stuff from now on. Anyone else get on with their RBZ or TM clubs in general? I've heard mostly negative stuff about them from owners so maybe it's a bit of negative placebo....but heyho, back to the old driver.

Game, game.....stop it!!:D surely you mean play with??

TM are ok, it's you not the clubs. Their quality control is a bit shoddy, but they are top of the league for innovation.

Ive used rbz drivers and think they where a bag of spanners. Probably the worst driver of all time as i think they lauched too high with too much spin and sound awful. But then.......my pal lent me his rbz driver with an after market "ahina" shaft. I can honestly say this is the best driver i have hit. The difference not just on the course but the track man was amazing

Oh, and binning my r11 was a huge mistake. Fantastic driver

I had the TM Tour Preferred irons and used TM Burner woods. Turns out the shafts in the woods which should have been a match off the shelf (all regular) were a mis-match with the driver being like wet spaghetti, the three wood a stiff old thing and the five being another Mr Whippy. No complaints about the irons but not found a good set of TM woods or hybrid I've enjoyed. Ping though is the future

I currently have a TM burner 2.0 irons and a Superfast 4i hybrid they are great clubs! It's user error that makes them hit the ball left and right! I've had in the past other 3 woods and 5 woods, most recently a RBZ 3 wood that was so long it was as long as my driver so I decided to ditch it, I've also had a RBZ 3i hybrid but couldn't hit that very confidently so Ive removed that from my bag ready to be sold on ebay soon.

I had a RBZ Tour 3 wood a while back. It had a reasonable Ozik shaft in it and it went like stink off the tee....
Off the deck was a different kettle of fish though....

how strange; all these owners buying and playing with clubs they mostly have negative comments about.

still, given that there were all those tour pro's playing TM drivers and keeping them hidden in Mizuno and Callaway head covers because they obviously hated them too I guess it's not that strange after all.

on the other hand can the millions of people who regularly play with TM clubs really feel that bad about them? I suggest not.

I thought the RBZ was a great club and super long, the only reason I switched to my G25 was because I fancied a new toy. The RBZ is still with me though and will not be going anywhere as its worth way (In a great club sense) more than the penny's they pick up these days.

I upgraded from the RBZ to the R1 and have nothing but praise for both clubs, however the key, like any driver is finding the right shaft.

I have also had TM Irons and hybrids and have never had a problem with them

Recently put the RBZ in the bag, to be totally honest with ya not really liking the white head.. sound isn't great... ball flight okay I guess, come to think of it why is it still in the bag... Oh yeah I remember now, averaging 280 yards and hitting 90% of fairways...

I don't think you can just tar all TM Clubs with the same brush. If the RBZ didn't work for you a different shaft might help if try a SLDR or RBZ Stage 2 or burner 2.0.

Can someone explain why they would buy a club they don't get on with?

Or blame the manufacturer if a club they bought on spec that didn't suit?

Go test 'em out and buy the actual one that works. And it's surprising what a different shaft will do.
