Titleist wedges, are they any good? I ask as there is a fitting day coming up at the DR I go to and was thinking about going up for a play.

Cheers
Dave

they are as good as any other decent brand of wedges, mizuno, callaway, nike etc

go anyway and see what you think, I use them but preferred my old nike SV 60 deg wedge to my vokey (if I had the cash I would snaffle the 3 RickG has on for sale!!!)

as I said, I would go anyway and try them, nowt to lose either way :)

They are very good although a tad too heavy for my preference. There are a lot of good wedges out there now. Ping, Mizuno and Nike are all very good but despite being a TM fan can't find any love for their wedge with the renewable face. Ugly looking thing that gives me no confidence

My Nike lob wedge finally rusted after a wet Round last week.
Just impulse brought a vokey 60/07 to go with my vokey 50 and 56 - would recommend

Personally I've never found the appeal in the Vokeys. They seem to heavy to me , a bit like swinging a weighted club. I would imagine there might be a little loss of distance control with them imo

Complete opposite for me, the heavier head gives me a much greater control of the clubhead and distance, in contrast I found the Clevelands I had before too light and hence lacked control.

Like any club, go and try some various brands and see which suits you
