I've been to Callaway HQ in the past and going from what others have said about Titleist, it has only whetted the appetite to go to Ping and give the I range a go. The wife is up for a few days meandering around the Lincoln area and if I could get a game at Woodhull Spa while I'm there happy days. To be honest I think most of the fitting centres at manufacturers (or regional versions) are pretty similar in terms of the vast array of shaft and spec options

Went AP2s with Project X rifle 5.5 the trackman had these on the perfect spec for me. Only problem is the fitter spotted I am casting the club a bit so this needs to be addressed . the whole day is excellent and I would recommend anyone to go get fitted before buying very expensive clubs. Went to Celtic Manor for sunday driver and had the fitting Monday. What a hotel but the Roman Road was a bog. Had my clubs Friday morning so played in afternoon . Anthony the fitter was brilliant and explained everything in plain English. the fitting bay is second to none and had everything I wanted to try. The trackman spotted I was hitting down on my driver by 7 degrees so it made it difficult for him to fit a driver until I sort this out I knew this before I went but seem unable to change my angle of attack . I will just have to practice.
