Titleist 3 wood

Has anyone used both the titleist 909 fairway and the 906 fairway?! is there any real difernce or should i go for the slightly cheaper 906 and get a better shaft, or the 909 because it is actually a better club? all comments welcome

Are they still available? If so they are old models and should be pretty cheap now. The current models are the 910F, 910Fd and 910H.

im gonna buy second hand! should be a bit cheaper can afford the 910's . . . so angry, they are lovely clubs!!!!!!!

The 906 was a good wood in it's day and probably still compares well to newer clubs. The 909 is a good one too. I don't think you'll go wrong with either but get the right shaft. I had 3 & 5 wood 906's with the VS Proto regular shaft - pretty good but probably needed stiff to be honest. Hit some of my best ever wood shots with them until the swing took over and everything started going left..

I have both 3 woods, the 906 in a 15 degree and the 909 in a 13 degree. Tbh there isnt a great deal of difference between the 2 (and the new 910 is almost identical looking to the 909 too), both are very good clubs and will stand up well to current models

Its an Aldila NV 75g, would happily sell but it has an xtra stiff flex and I was guessing from your sig it will be too stiff for you
