Time Up For Strachan

That was embarrassing from Strachan. You only have to point to Barcelona to kill that line of defence. Oh yes, apparently the Dutch are the tallest nation in the world, or close to it, and they have failed to get to the last two tournaments. Scotland are not going to Russia because they are not good enough, not because they are not tall. It's the sort of guff that Mourinho would come out with during a surly spell.

It is Gordon's way of distracting away from the team.......and the daft press fell for it once again.

I know why he, and every other manager does it. You do need to have a semblance of truth to it otherwise you just look ridiculous. He looked ridiculous the other night.

Think you have to look at where Scotland were before Strachan took over, he has picked them up brushed them down and made them into a team that only missed out on qualification by a whisker. That is way better than you have been for years .

He hasn't got a fantastic pool of players to choose from and if he did go, I cannot see a natural successor in sight.

In short, if you want to have any chance of qualifying for Euro 2020 then you need to keep hold of him.

I agree he's turned them around and was close to getting them to the play offs, although the start did for them. At the same time, you have to wonder about Coleman at Wales and whether after the Euro's last year and getting so close (but didn't play well last night) he'll decide he's taken them as far as he can

First thing that needs addressing from the new manager is getting rid of Craig Gordon.

Shortly followed by Berra, Mulgrew, Bannan, and Forrest.

Not really sure who I would want as the new national manager and to be fair not sure I'll even care.

Admitted England job was his dream job, Scotland couldn't entice him or afford him.

Give it 9 months or so and Southgate will be avialable cheap!

past caring myself, not even a perfect manager combo of Fergie/Cloughie/Guardiola/Scolari and Maureen could take us anywhere these days.:p
