I'm sorry, I know it's another Tiger Woods thread but.

Do you think he's good for the game? And would it bother you if you never saw him going toe to toe with another golfer on the final day of a major again, if he retired for whatever reason, like him or loathe him, would you still miss him and what he brings to the game.

Personally I'd be gutted,Watching a major just wouldn't be the same.

What would you Rather see on final day of the Masters, Rory and Tiger in the final group, or Rory and A.N other.
Would it bother you if Tiger wasn't even there.

I get the impression from the other threads, some wouldn't be bothered if he walked away from it all tomorrow.

Would tennis be the same without Federer?
Would football be the same without Messi?

It will go on, and move into a different era, but having the chance to watch one of the best players there has ever been is something to cherish while he's still around.

I like him and he is great for the game, he makes an exciting game even more exciting especially if him, Rory, luke and Lee are in contention on the final round of the Open:thup:

It wouldn't bother me if he never played again. I know that he is/has been the best player in the world, but there is more to golf than just plaing the game well. I think he took the game down-market with his antics on and off the course, particularly the spitting. I think he will continue to play as journeyman pro who will occasionally come out of the pack and win something big, but his presence is nowhere near as intimidating as it has been in the past. Look what happened when he was paired with Robert Rock in the final pair in Dubai. In his heyday Tiger would never have let that one get away.

SORRY WHO ARE WE TALKING ABOUT AGAIN:whistle:

Would not miss him one little bit and the other players in the field who are in contention would get some TV time.

Golf has flourished even after the following stuck their clubs away,

Sam Snead
Ben Hogan
Lee Trevino
Gary Player
Arnold Palmer
Jack Nicklaus
Tom Watson
Seve Ballesteros
Nick Faldo

All multiple major winners, need I go on?

We wouldn't miss him at all.
