went to pre order in game today turns out they are not doing ea sports titles anymore as they are waiting for someone to buy them out. so will prob wait for it to come into asda

Played the demo today and it's ok, I like the shot options and the caddy is better but I think their over complicating it with the strike thingy, I think they will lose their casual gamer market

hmm, personally I would be looking to use up the vouchers .... Just in case they go under.

They are in quite bad financial trouble, and if the go to administration without a buyer you would lose them. Rumours about takeovers are rife but I would prefer not to lose out myself.

Back on topic, finally remembered to download it for PS3 tonight. Apparently you will get some advancement in the actual game by having played the demo, so I'll deffo be working on it for a few nights.

I'll probably get it after my gcses otherwise I'll get distracted! One thing that I do think is good is that I think it will make the scores a lot more realistic, as it was fairly easy to shoot 30 under for a tournament even on tour pro in tiger woods 12, and from playing the demo i feel like its far more important to hit the fairway on this as you usually have to take a club or 2 extra to get it where you would if from the fairway

EA and a number of other companies have stopped supplying Game and Gamestation due to serious financial issues. Current rumours are that US company Gamestop or Walmart are looking to buy them but waiting for them to enter administration before they do so as they can then get rid of underperforming or duplicate stores at no cost. Most analyst believe that they will not last until the end of the month and you may notice that all other new games that they stock are sealed and marked that they remain the property of the supplier. There are also rumours of Game being stitched up by the game developers who want to end the second hand games market as they make no money on it.

Still, as it happens I have 30th March off work (couple of days off before I start my new job) so will be down the supermarket first thing for my copy.
