Tiger this weekend - what will happen?

I am watching the Tiger Woods show.

Even the Host is apologising for there obsession with Tiger he has mentioned it 3 times already.

I understand on social media people are complaining about it.

I like watching Tiger but I also want to see other players in the coverage.
 
Watching the rugby and will see if he's anywhere near page one of the leaderboard after nine or at half time. If so I might see him finish out. Good to see him playing well but it isn't some kind of second coming
 
I would not usually watch this event but as Tiger is playing I am enjoying it.

Love to see him win. Want to see every shot...

This man changed the golf as we know it , turnred pro golfers into athletes , brought so much to the game ..

No respect for how he lived his life but that's none of my business .. as for golf ..

Does anybody know what clubs he is using? I just googled his WITB and it said nike forged wedges, but on the slow-mo the just showed it was definately a Taylormade.

Exactly this! Although I even don't care about how he chose to live his private life. He had a pretty odd upbringing so his North is not quite what's ours might be.

Au contraire, Rodney me old son, some kind of second coming is exactly what it is.

Greatest golfer of his generation, falls to almost 300 in the world rankings and chomps around the place with a short game even I'd be embarrassed with, then gets back on top after everyone's written him off.

Yeah, it's an average field and yeah, he gets a lot of air time and yeah, you would be a bit miffed if your daughter introduced you to him as her new boyfriend but it's TIGER BLOODY WOODS.
 
OK so he may win. Not a world class field, though even by US PGA tour events standards. Great if he does win and I agree 100% it'll do wonders for his belief in the work he's doing and his confidence. Second coming though. On the back of one good week and possibly a win? Still don't think he'll ever get back to the top and world #1 or win another major. Just what I think and of course he and you may be right

Well let's face it, the odds are against him. But if he does manage to win another major it'll be one of the greatest sports stories of all time.

Will he do it? No idea. Probably not. But if I've learned one thing watching golf for the last however many years, it's that if anybody can do it, it's this guy. The only time I'll believe it's no longer possible for him is when he hangs up his putter.

as for Tiger - yes the coverage is poor, and yes we could do with seeing some of the other players. But, as many have said, there is some sort of fascination and aura about Tiger that draws you in.
And the crowds watching him and who will watch on TV prove that. (Check out the viewing figures for this tournament when they're released....)
He has star quality and charisma perhaps like no other sportsman alive or dead. (Ali maybe in the same breath?)
and I'm not simply a Tiger fan like some suggest. I watch the golf regardless of whether he is playing or not - it's just better when he's in contention.!
 
Be great to see him win, hope he does

It is weak field, but 1 win tonight mean another win next time he tees it up, if you can win once, you can win twice, if you can win twice you should expect to win every time you tee it up. If Tiger finds consistency it would not take long for him to find belief as he has 35 years of mental programming all focused on winning

I think the man that kick started that was Gary 'the harder I try the luckier I get' Player
 
Don't disagree that Gary Player was the first notable one to work out but how many followed his example at the time?
