I may be proved wrong but I think the kudos of teaming up with Woods again with a view to getting him back to number 1 will be to big a lure for Harmon and he'll do it.

Thing is, tiger can't go back to the swing butch had him doing. Physically, he is knacked. Foley has been trying to work around tigers knee, and was chosen because the s and t swing involves less knee snap. Butch will have him in hospital again.

There are reasons that tiger is in decline, and it isn't just the coach.

I don't think Woods really bought into the S&T philosophy though and certainly didn't switch to an out and out JustoneUK S&T swing. I'm sure Harmon recognises Woods is a damaged athlete and so won't do anything that will injure Woods. That is never a good idea for coach or pupil to do the hard work off course and then be too injured to play.

Don't forget that when Tiger did his widely criticised swing overhaul after he won the Masters by 12 shots with Butch, the whole reason they did it was because they knew that Tiger physically could not continue to swing that way for a long period of time. They created his new swing to be less strenuous on his knees and back so that he could have a long career.
