Absolutely hosed it down here an hour ago. Horizontal hail, rain, thunder, lightning, the full works.

Must be regional, we've had no rain or thunder lightning in West Scotland, been v sunny about 24 Deg yesterday/today and warm before that which for mid August is good for here. Hot enough tbh, the dog can't cope. Nice for the large influx of staycationers of course. East side of Scotland got pummelled I believe leading to that tragic landslip over the railway line at Stonehaven.

We finally got our share today! Luckily it was just before we went out to play golf but still got soaked through putting the stuff back in the car. Scary drive home as visibility was shocking and roads close to flooding. Hopefully the golf course will be a bit less parched although need a few more days of it for sure.
