thread to report issues/requests related to new forum format

As per the title...

With a few days under our belts keen to get a snagging list generated for the developers to look at and hopefully offer solutions so...

Try to clearly explain what issue you are having and what device (including browser and version if on desktop/laptop) you are using. Use screen grabs if that helps explain the issue

If you are making a request for something to be modified/added then please use screen grabs from or links to other forums if that helps explain your suggestion

NB - the format - i.e. advertising/highlighted GM content WILL NOT be changing

Any forumers who can offer a fix to a reported issue feel free to post an answer here as a reply with quote if possible

Please refrain from commenting on posts - this is thread is only for reporting or fixing issues. Posts will be removed if they fall foul of this.
 
In Mobile Format, certainly on Android, the "quote" tabs at the bottom of each post are hidden.
The text seems to be in the same colour as the background. The tabs are there, if you tap the corner you get the quote box but its a bit hit and miss.
Also on Android Mobile, I don't think anyone has been able to locate the Smiley's.
 
On Android mobile, in mobile version, I can't:

Reply with quote (can't see the buttons anywhere)
Add screenshots
Edit posts

I also can't stand the new format but that's clearly irrelevant. I just need to give vent to my anger, otherwise it will eat away at me from the inside and I'll die miserable and alone after alienating myself from everyone I love.

See what you've done to me Mike? ;)

Running the full site on my Android tablet, these threads don't show as being locked until you go into them and there's a "closed thread" tab at the bottom
Same on mobile site too.
 
Repeating what I have already posted elsewhere,
If using Internet Explorer, I am asked for my user name and password, when I type them in I am taken to a screen that says "the page you have requested does not exist please return to main menu"

Also the banner advert hides all the drop down menu options.
 
I like the overall format of the site now apart from the overly intrusive ads on the right hand side. Most are advertising parts of the site, which I already look at anyway, but the biggest gripe is the vastly reduced space for text with a sizable white space below the ads.
I have only used to site on PC and it seems to be a waste of space when almost a third of the screen is just blank.

As I said in the initial post this new format will remain - we need to deliver those ad formats becuase they are what our advertisers want and I want to highlight whats happening on the rest of the site (youre in a minority of forum users who look at news, reviews etc from around the side)
If the white space bothers you so much can you not just drag your browser screen in from the RH side as per what I have done?

I've lost most of what I had previously after the change on my Windows phone, all was OK on Friday but from Saturday its gone 100 miles backwards!

As of today I am getting no email alerts at all!

When in the mobile set-up on my phone I have no "quote reply" of "edit" functions! However, when I did get an email alert before (Friday/Saturday) I noticed none of those features but if I synchronised my phone whilst in that post, they then appeared!

When I did get and follow an email alert I now loose the striped menu bar in the top right corner which I had before Saturday meaning that once I've read that post, I can't navigate anywhere else!

If I use the arrow (left) next to the title at the top in an attempt to go somewhere else, it takes me to a VBulliten board with all the lettering vertical and unreadable!

Its prudent to say I've now disabled the mobile function from my phone as its unworkable!

Oh I forgot to mention, I attempted to post most of the above last night from my phone and when I went to post/send, I realised that I was reporting the post which is quite strange when I don't have the report features showing!!
 
Couple of "minor" issues in mobile mode

1. Being unable to see polls

2. Being unable to make forum as read

3. Being able to see smileys


Other than those I think the switch is very good
 
This is not a problem with the new format as it existed before the changeover but is still an annoyance.

The problem is that the TaylorMade advert just under the menu items covers up the dropdown menus from "Community", "Forum Actions" and "Quick Links".

I see this problem in both Chrome and Firefox.
 
I've got my 3 lined menu link/tab back in the top right corner so I can navigate, the quote replies and other functions still don't show initially unless I sync when I'm in a topic!

Why it would all come & go who knows, still getting no email notifications though.
