Okay. So apart from the one I had when I got back to the clubhouse from the barmaid (cigarette!) after my injury yesterday. It did flipping hurt!

I've been clean for almost 3 weeks! The desire hasn't completely gone away, but it is getting easier.

Let's hope that it continues. I must be saving a small fortune.

Well done! I was wondering the other day how you were getting on. One slip up is excusable, but don't go down the line of thinking "well I'll only have the one, it won't do any harm." You are either a smoker or not. There are no half measures.
Keep up the good work. You are over the toughest part. Now go out and buy yourself something as a reward with the money you would've spent on fags. :D

keep it up hapless' but watch out for that 'just one', it's a killer.

stopped for three years once, had a car crash, was given 'just one' - it took another 7 years to stop.

Having just that problem as we speak....Gave up for 4 years, had one, now am finding it difficult to not smoke at all, will admit to only smoking 1 or 2 a day, but all that effort will go to waste if I cant kick that :(

jahmoo, cruel fact of life mate, you are a smoker - there is no such thing as a part time smoker.

you know it's going to be a lot harder now, so get at it.

That 'one' is a killer, and so it starts all over again. Which is what I'm desperate not to do. But then again that's how I got down from over 30 a day to 5 a day a little while ago.

That one a day could esculate very easily.

We'll forgive you the one, but another means you're not hacking it. A better effort for the next three weeks please.

After all if you went from, say, 10 a day (??) that's 200 or so in three weeks. All you have to do now is cut down from one in three weeks. Much easier & you know you can...

Keep it up HH. It does get easier as time goes by.
