Now I'm no super sleuth but looking at your username you wouldn't happen to be the above mentioned Chas Ardley by any chance?

So hardly a spam post for membership at all then? Still not convinced by the claim of "probably the best greens...." and feel the winner may have gone overboard in his praise. Plenty of clubs I can think of with greens regularly as good as you'd ever hope for week in week out, not just to host a pro-am
