Things That Gladden The Heart

I honestly could have put this link in the random irritations thread, losing weight thread, but surely this is a good thing.
Also good that Greggs are smart enough to notice and react to the change.(Maybe that's what you were suggesting?) Give people what they want.

Greggs are an important business now, big employer, tax payer etc. It's good for all of us if they do well, in the right way.

I must be pretty unique in the fact I’ve never had a Greggs 😳😳

They are everywhere in the NE, are in most towns and cities elsewhere. How have you never been in one? 😳

They've evolved massively from me using them in my student days, they really were about pasties and pastries only back then. Now you can get healthy stuff and they are pretty smart at how they've evolved. They are a great success story.

Go on, treat yourself 😋

Thankfully, I can get my fix of Gregg’s sausage rolls & steak bakes here in Spain.

Greggs is my go to coffee stop when walking around town and my go to coffee shop when I am recharging the car at the Solstice services (A303).
One of the few places left that still means I do not have to take out a mortgage for a mug of coffee.
If you're charging a car at Solstice services, isn't the cost of the coffee you drink while waiting for it kind of incidental?

They opened a cafe with inside and outside seating next door to Tesco Express, just 19 minute stroll from the High School.
It's bluddy manic after 3.30 and those kids are spending like billyo, in both stores, just swiping their phones at the scanners.
And now they've launched their Bistro Greggs restaurants.

Petty sure there's a Greggs pub in Newcastle now 😳

I mentioned it as a go to for motorway services coffee a while back and the replies I got you’d thought I’d pee’d in someone’s chips and was lambasted for it being cheap crap 😂

I've been into Greggs once. To buy/try one of their vegan sausage rolls. It was alright. But never seen the need to go in there before or since. No reason - its just that they don't sell anything I'm bothered about having.

Is it true stuff sits there to get cold? If you time it wrong you get tepid pasties???? Revolting
