Things That Gladden The Heart

Customer Services at Spear & Jackson.
They really are the best I've ever encountered .................................. by a distance!
A spring broke on a pair of loppers last Saturday.
I emailed them on Sunday evening, they replied on Monday morning, I sent my reply later that evening.
The following morning a new part was in the post along with a secong one as a spare.
No charge, no quibbling, no problem.
Spear & Jackson are my 'go to' for ant gardening equipment.
Oh, and their loppers are truly epic!
Four or five of my mates/family have bought the same.

I had exactly the same experience a few years ago. Same part, same service.

Obviously the Go Kart of the gardening world 🤣

2nd Sunday of Advent. Thoughts and hopes this coming week for peace…peace of mind for individuals; silencing of words and actions of division, and stilling of despair, anger and fear in all across communities and wider society. Well I can but hold out hope.

The wife is not well so I was sitting at home twiddling my thumbs when my 2 eldest turned up and said they are taking me for lunch.

Currently sat in a nice pub with a roaring fire laughing and joking with a nice pint and looking forward to fish & chips.

[Jings don't show that to the Ayrshire Roads Alliance, they will think their roads are better than average.]
Anyone who has ever lived in Leeds has experienced the Hyde Park and Headingley maintenance-free road zone. I reckon it’s to appease the populace by showing that no Council Tax is being spent on predominantly student areas 🤣.

Have you rung her to check how she is?

Just looking at a toilet joke on the humour thread.
Took me back to my recent Japan trip in November.
"Electric" WC's are the norm.
First reaction "A toilet connected to the mains? S*d that!"
Then you discover the seats are heated.
Ooh, nice.
Then you see buttons you can press.
Then you get a water pistol where you weren't expecting it.
A minute later I'm thinking "This is going on a bit too long".
Then I see there's a stop button.
🙄😜

After the jet of water, was there a warm air blower?

Bending over underneath a wall-mounted one might be something I need to practice. 🙃
